When in a rental property you will most assuredly sign a residential agreement in order to take possession. No matter calling it a residential contract or a residential lease, they are the same.
A company like RDS Real Estate likes their tenants to understand the meaning of a residential agreement both in terms of you the tenant and the company that is the landlord. Really, it makes no difference the type of real estate, either residential or commercial, the agreement signed should be understood by the tenant.
Residential leasing is however, a very different endeavor than commercial leasing. I don’t think that a new business owner typically understands that difference and RDS Real Estate specializes in commercial lease properties and is a great expert to rely on.
