You can set your watch by it: every six months there is a Haslet retail space for rent available.
How long can you wait for that retail space for rent that you need?
Let’s face facts: Haslet is not a very large city, and that means the available retail space for rent on any given day is, shall we say, limited at best. In other words, Haslet is a great place to live, but not a great place to find available commercial property for rent . . . which means, of course, you need to expand your search parameters to neighboring cities like Fort Worth or Haltom City.
Now we have nothing against Haltom City. We in fact lease quite a few industrial spaces in Haltom City, including several at 5208 Airport Freeway, great retail spaces with good traffic flow and area growth. No, we definitely think Haltom City is worth a look for that retail space for rent that you seek.
But we also think North Fort Worth is worth a look, and in particular unincorporated Tarrant County in North Fort Worth where the brand new Fort Worth Design District has now opened. The District consists of over forty acres of funky, out-of-the-ordinary commercial properties for lease, three business parks in total, Box Office Warehouse Suites, Paddock Place Office Suites, and Golden Triangle Business Park. It is unlike anything you have seen in commercial properties, so unique that people are driving by to take a look even though they don’t even own a business, just ordinary people out for a Sunday drive, curious to see this completely unique business community where the Creatives, the Doers, the Dreamers, and the Happening Crowd are hanging out.
We can show you around this Tarrant County retail space for rent if you like. We are RDS Real Estate and we manage properties in the Fort Worth Design District, just part of the over one-million square feet of commercial properties we manage. We are kind of proud of The District and for good reason: it is totally unique in Tarrant County, an area where once crops were grown but now where ideas sprout from the Texas soil. It is surrounded by new housing developments, surrounded by new businesses, and embraced by the community. It is, in two words, the Happening Place in Tarrant County.
