We are going to give you some rather blunt advice if you are looking for shop space for rent in DFW . . . skip looking in the Dallas area. It’s a colossal waste of your time.
How’s that for blunt?
Seriously, why would you look for shop space for rent in an area where real estate prices have skyrocketed and you don’t get enough value for your real estate dollar? Why would you look for a shop for rent in Dallas when you can go ten miles down the highway and enjoy a much better business environment in Tarrant County, the “FW” part of that “DFW” designation?
If you are a shrewd business person, and we are guessing that you are, then you will continue reading. If not, best wishes in Dallas because we can’t help you in that search.
Yes, Tarrant County is large, and there are some great commercial properties for rent in Haltom City, Arlington, and Grapevine, but we are only going to suggest one particular part of Tarrant County, the area known as the Alliance Area just off I35W at the Golden Triangle Exit. There you will find the Fort Worth Design District, over forty acres of innovation and creativity. The Design District is a pocket business neighborhood dedicated to fashion, design, architecture, tech businesses, craftsmen, artists, distributors, and other creative experiences. It is in an unincorporated enclave just north of Fort Worth, which allows tenants a quick move in with a minimum of the normal headaches of getting a certificate of occupancy. This allows your business to be flexible, adding products and services without city oversite, in a city grade facility. It is electric, funky, creative, and upscale, and at the center of the District you will find Box Office Warehouse Suites, a business park made from recycled shipping containers, featuring graffiti art, electric car charging stations, and units as small as 320 square feet.
Next to that is Paddock Place Office Suites, a business park in a converted horse barn, and Golden Triangle Business Park.
Somewhere in that forty acres is the shop space for rent that you seek, the future of your business, and a drastic step into the future of commercial real estate.
