BlogCommercial Propertyoffice space to rent options

It might seem a bit strange, a commercial real estate company suggesting that smaller might be better with regards to leasing office space, but for many that is the truth, and in this article, we will give you a couple options you might not have thought of yet.  We are RDS Real Estate, serving Fort Worth and surrounding Tarrant County. Call us at 817-439-3224 for information on any industrial space for lease or commercial property for rent in Tarrant County.

Now, though, let’s talk about going small with office space to rent.

Small business owners and home-based business owners, pay attention!

For those of you who are small business owners, or home-based business owners, take this truth to the bank: at some point, if you are successful and if your business grows, you will need to find go out and find office space for lease.  Your business needs a professional location.  You cannot continue to meet with clients or suppliers in the office located in your spare bedroom. Although that may seem quaint, it in fact appears unprofessional and does not convey a serious business image.

The problem for many of those just mentioned, or at least the problem in the past, was the cost of finding adequate professional space at a price they could afford. Commercial property for rent is not cheap, or at least it wasn’t prior to the pandemic.  Now, though, the commercial property landscape has shifted, and it is, in fact, possible to actually rent office space at a reasonable price.

How small is possible when leasing office space?

We currently have offices for rent, at Box Office Warehouse Suites, in Fort Worth, which are only 320 square feet in size, which may seem small at first, but which are the perfect size for a small business or home-based business.  What more do you need? There is room for a small reception desk, a small waiting room, and the main office, all the necessities wrapped up in a space no bigger than the standard loft for rent.

And they are infinitely better than meeting clients in your spare bedroom office.

How about a part-time solution to leasing office space?

For those who are still concerned with budget, we also have coworking space located at Paddock Place Office Suites, professional offices which you rent by the month and not on a long-term lease. For $450 per month you can have a professional face for your business and not break the budget.  You share common areas with other entrepreneurs, you have WiFi and all of the conveniences of a full-time office, but at half-or-a-third of the cost.

A new world brings new solutions

The point of these two examples is this: it is a new world in the business community. COVID has made commercial real estate companies and building contractors re-think their approach to providing properties for rent.  No matter what city you are currently living in, chances are excellent that you can find a suitable solution to your “leasing office space” problem.
