Being a city of considerable size, how difficult do you think it is to find Dallas retail space for rent?

Not very!

So you are the veritable kid in a candy shop as you begin your search for retail space for rent, and Dallas is the welcoming candy shop . . . but . . . is it the best candy shop around for what you need?

That question must be considered before you go ahead and sign a lease.

Here’s the main problem with commercial property for rent in any major city in the United States:  it costs an arm and a leg. Major cities all suffer from a common problem, namely lack of available property on which to build. Consequently, the existing property in that city is expensive and will, in fact, only become more expensive.

Add to that the fact that major cities have strict governmental oversight, and you have two compelling reasons why you might want to expand your search to outlying areas, and in the case of Dallas, that outlying area is Tarrant County, Texas, and the thirty towns and cities within that booming area.  There are some great choices in Tarrant County.  Industrial property for rent in Haltom City is numerous.  Retail spaces for rent in Mansfield are considerably less-expensive than in Dallas.

But for our money nothing beats the new business district found in North Fort Worth, the Fort Worth Design District.  In unincorporated Tarrant County (meaning no certificate of occupancy needed), the Fort Worth Design District is a new business neighborhood of forty-plus acres, surrounded by new housing developments, it includes Box Office Warehouse Suites, Paddock Place Office Suites, and Golden Triangle Business Park.  This is an area of creative-thinkers, of unique businesses, a brand new business enclave that looks and feels like gentrification except only cows and horses were relocated.  It is in the heart of the Alliance Area, one of the fastest-growing commercial areas in all of Texas, with quality eateries, shopping malls, strip malls, in fact every type of retail establishment you could imagine.

And it is there waiting for you, a scant twenty miles away from Dallas but really another world altogether.

Give us a call!  RDS Real Estate . . . we will be more than happy to show you around The District, talk about your business and your needs, and find you the retail shop of your dreams.
